So I've been tossing around the idea of installing a forum dedicated to discussing keeping and breeding cichlids. The site is now getting about 450 visitors per day, so an African cichlid forum, or just a cichlid forum in general may soon be a good idea.

Please share your opinion in the comments field below about this idea!

Well, I went ahead and installed a cichlid forum, but it caused server issues, so I had to go and disable it!

The size of the tank isn't really the determinant. You can always get a bigger filter and change the water more often, and just put in as many fish as you want. What you need to consider is what would be cruel to the fish. If you were to pack 20 fish in there like they do in a pet store, they wouldn't be happy. However, 4 or 5 with plenty of rockwork may get along just fine.

What specific question do you have about the bumblebee cichlid?

Oh, and this isn't exactly the forum ;)

I found it's usually one of two things: the tank PH is usually set at 8-8.2, when the new store fish are added they are generally kept at neutral, that shock usually kills 'em in that time period. Check the ammonia level, especially if you transferred water from another tank, that usually nukes 'em quick as well.
