Jack Dempsey on last fin =[ - 2010/05/18 21:39 I have a Jack Dempsey that was unfortunately almost eaten alive by an african cichlid. (pet store mixup) My Jack Dempsey is my favorite fish and has about 10% of his scales left on his body. There are patches where he has been eaten further than scales and into flesh. His fins look like those of a crowntail betta. Does anybody have any advice as to what I can do to help him heal?

I have him in a bowl currently (only thing I have other than my 10gal) by himself with a light constantly on the water. Any advice would help!! Thanks,
