Setting up Cichlid tank (newbie) - 2009/03/23 05:11 I have a 40 gallon tank with one cichlid in it now but I plan to add more. The problem I have now is that I have the right water levels but I don't have the right decor and I am not sure what to put in it. I have the basic pet store decor and it is not working now. Where can I find the right decor and what type of rocks should I use? Any help would be great.

What have you got in there at the moment? Why is it not working for you?

Re:Setting up Cichlid tank (newbie) - 2009/03/24 11:48 it is the basic pet store decor. it is working but not what i think cichlids need. i am also in the process ot buying new fish and i want it to look a little more like a show tank, river rocks will work besides that is there and thing else that would be good as for as plants and hiding places for them? i would like to have all rocks or is that a bad thing.
