pleco, catfish, or nothing? - 2009/02/11 09:35
Hi,
I have 5 cichlids in my 20 gallon long tank. A yellow lab, a blue kenyi, a red zebra, an auratus, and a bumblebee.
I've had badk luck with plecos my whole life. Could a catfish do the pleco's job, and maybe be a bit more hardy in my +8.0ph tank? If so, what kind of cat?
Petsmart people seem to just tell you what you want to hear...
Also, I have salt in my tank, and cichlid essential that I add once a week.
