hello their 1 male with 2-3 females would work but i would place them in a larger tanke more like a 25-30gal, and space the shells out enough where the females wont bother each other.

I have roughly a 40 gal tank that use to have 6 shell dwellers in it. They\'ve died off but i want to get some more, can i put a different breed in with them and how many of each type would work in a tank this size? thanks for your help.
