Tank Start up with eggs... - 2007/11/17 06:19 I just started a tank about a month ago with 6 African Cichlids. I noticed last night there seem to be egg sacs floating around in the tank. I looked again this morning, and do not see them any longer. What is the process for these fish to breed? Not sure, as I've never had fish that actually bred. Can cichlids of different varieties breed? Maybe this is a moot point...

Re:Tank Start up with eggs... - 2007/11/19 04:11 It depends on the specific fish to be honest. They may have unsuccessfully tried to spawn, whether mouthbrooders or not, and then abandoned the eggs
