Population Limit - 2007/11/17 06:05 I have a 30 gallon tank, and have decided to go with African Cichlids. My question is, what is a good rule of thumb to use in determining how many fish you can have in an aquarium?

Re:Population Limit - 2007/11/19 04:10 They say about an inch of fish per gallon. So, if your cichlids will grow to 4 or 5 inches, you're looking at keeping 6 or 7 max. But make sure you use lots of rocks in the aquarium, and do plenty of water changes
