parasites? - 2009/03/31 11:13 I have a cichlid that has a condition I would like to identify and find proper treatment for. You can see the 5 white raised dots around his eye in the attached photo. I moved him to a hospital tank last night. In the process the activity knocked off the 5 white spots leaving sore spots. I have had him/her for several years. I do not know which type of cichlid he is.

Re:parasites? - 2009/12/15 15:07 if you have him in a hospital tank i would put in 1g Potassium Permanganate per 10Lt water, for 4-5 days this will help disinfect him and also help his open wounds have time to heal and not get infected
