My chocoalte cichlid has trouble eating (although he still comes out and eats a pellet if i coax him), he is hiding at the bottom of the tank with his fins down, it looks like he has been rubbing himself on something. But For a while now i have noticed his stomache is bloated. It has been like this for months. but today when i went to the tank my Severum is bloated too. And it is breathing heavily. please tell me this is not BLOAT or DROPSY! if it is will it affect my other fish?...Oscars/Convicts/Silver Dollars/Juwels/Green Severum/ and some bottom feeders.
I test my water weekly and it is all good!
Someone please help me. i have had my chocky and severum for 2 years, i will be wounded if they die!
oh, yeah, forgot to add: the scales are not raised like dropsy, but the choc has been stratching himself on something, can see the lines.
