size matters - 2008/07/20 10:00 I have a 29gal. I want cichlids, but all the ones I really like require 55gal. tanks. Can anyone help me figure out which cichlids are best suited for my 29gal.?

Re:size matters - 2008/07/22 09:58 you can put a south american convict cichlid in there just one and maybe put four tiger barbs in there.... my son has the same set up in a 29 gallon he got from wal mart and the fish look really good...make sure to have good filtration and only get one convict cause if you get two they will fight or have babies and trust me niether is good

Check out dwarfcichlids.com
Dwarf cichlids max out between 10-12cm!
As for small fish, I have some yellow top mbamba that are really gorgeous. they max out at about 3 inches heres a pic of my male..
