How many?? - 2008/02/26 15:07 would be a safe number in a 55 gallon tank? If so, what kinds? I currently have 13 mixed Mbunas (Malawi's) in mine. (Auratus, Bumblebee's, Red Zebra's, Kenyii's, and two Jewel's) which many have told me are the most aggressive all together. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks.

Re:How many?? - 2008/02/26 17:53 In my 55g i have 2 frontosa, 2 geophagus brachybranchus, 1 angel, 1 yo-yo loach, 1 common pleco and 3 corys. They range in size from 1.5 inches to 6inches. I read all the time that jewels are very aggressive. But mine arent, i must be lucky. Mine are a breeding pair aswell and never ever injured or killed any of the other fish while breeding.

Re:How many?? - 2008/05/10 17:34 What plagues my mind is how an angelfish and frontosa are living in the same tank. WOW, call Dr. Axelrod and inform him of your pioneering work with mixed fishkeeping.
