strange behavior??? - 2008/03/25 02:38
I reciently aquired my fathers african cichlids, one of them is definately the donimant one, it is what I think to be a zebra striped fish. I have had them about 1 and1/2 weeks at my new house, the "zebra fish" started a couple days ago digging holes in the gravel and pushing tank decorations over it, it also seems to be very defensive of that territory. I was wondering if someone with more knowledge could tell me if this fish is a female and how they breed and which other fish it would breed with, and what I should do if this is a "nesting" type of behavior. the under belly is mostly yellow and the under-fins are bark brown, like it's strips. Thank You to who ever wants to help me.
