hi, to be honest mate africans can be alot more agressive than the american cichlids, but from what you sed you have in there all the american species can hold there own, i tried it before and thre only problem i hadwas when i introduced a new fish to the tank, i put in an oscar with my mixture ofamerican and african cichlids, thre african 1s bullied him until death, so my overall advice would be that they shoulf befine unless you intriduce a new fish to the tank, hope this helps
