Red Devil and Red Snook Croos Breeding - 2007/10/28 07:04 Hello guys... KD Here

I have 2 female adult red devils who are laying eggs on the regular... I thought one of the devils was a male. but just found out it was a female..

So i was wondering if the red devils would cross breed with a red snook... I was told it was very possible..

I am interested in hearing everyone eles's opinion...

thanks in advance

Re:Red Devil and Red Snook Croos Breeding - 2007/10/28 15:00 I really don't see how it's possible - they're of two completely different genus.

And if the red devils are already breeding, why would they want to breed with another? Usually cross-breeding only occurs when there's no perfectly matched mate (same fish, opposite sex), but there's a fish of the opposite sex that is similar, as in the cases of different types of zebra cichlids.
